Today at lunch, I was unable to get any pictures due to a dead battery in my camera, however as we were driving up I saw Jeffrey wrestling with the first two rafters trying to get the right measurements and make sure they were in place. During my visit there, it seemed like a whole lot of up and down up and down, measure, re-measure and the such. So when I came back out this afternoon, I wasn't exactly sure what I'd see. I was tickled to see this!
The section you see installed above is the 14' section over the bonus room (garage end of house). The rafters are Douglas Fir and are beautiful! They are really going to be pretty on the exposed underside of the overhang off the front of the house.
