I just got off the phone with Ellis Wills, Vice President of Farmers Mortgage Bank. It seems that all this time that we've been waiting for them to call us with closing date, they've been waiting on the underwriters, who were waiting on the appraiser to answer questions about the things that were incorrect, and of course, once again we've been delayed. I had to remind myself just this weekend, that anything worth having is worth waiting and working hard for... so I'll take my own medicine today. Latest estimate to close : 2-3 more weeks.
On a brighter note, we met with Russell Hillman and signed into a contract with Geosolice this weekend. More to come on that in a later post!
